What is the difference between Full-Service & COD Oil Delivery?
Full-service oil has many benefits including customer support, automatic delivery, payment plans, optional budget plans, and a strong partnership with your oil provider. COD/Discount is just that – cash payment at the point of delivery. Wondering if full-service is right for you and your family? Compare and Contrast Full Service vs. COD and decide for yourself.
How does Automatic Delivery work?
A benefit of full-service oil delivery, automatic delivery ensures the customer will receive an oil delivery before they run out, and the customer doesn’t need to initiate the request. We use a specially formulated digital monitoring system based on a degree-day calculation; dispatching oil deliveries automatically based on a combination of weather indicators and your estimated consumption rate. Automatic Delivery customers qualify for a 5 cent discount per gallon if they pay within 10 days.
What is a “degree-day”?
Degree-day monitoring is a system used to calculate how much oil you use based on the temperature outside. The average temperature is taken for the 24-hour period, for example 28° F. That is subtracted from 65° F, to give you a degree day of 37. The higher the degree day, that more fuel you use.
What is BioHeat®?
BioHeat® is regular heating oil blended with 2-5% Biodiesel. Biodiesel is a renewable energy resource that is made domestically from fatty acids found in soy and vegetable oils, recycled restaurant oils, and other natural sources. BioHeat® burns cleaner, produces fewer emissions, and can extend the life of your equipment. For more information, please visit www.bioheatonline.com
