Company History
Few companies can match the proud heritage and reputation Scudder Taylor Fuel has earned over the years. The company’s beginnings date back to 1861, when the Scudder family salvaged the contents of a coal barge that had run aground off the coast of Osterville, MA. Nearly 150 years later, Scudder Taylor Fuel has developed into the region’s leading heating and cooling company.
Scudder Taylor Fuel has always been a family owned and operated business. Our family extends to all our dedicated and loyal employees, as well as our valued customers.
At Scudder Taylor Fuel, we understand that Cape Cod is an area of great natural beauty – with extreme weather conditions.
